Custodian

Job Position: Custodian Location: Spring Grove, IL 60081 Pay Rate: $16.00/hr+ BOE Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm Custodian Duties and Responsibilities Adhere to all work rules, safety guidelines, and procedures. Clean and maintain assigned areas by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows, and removing trash. Clean and restock washrooms. Clean company vehicles as assigned. Remove cardboard and debris to maintain facility organization. Maintain outdoor areas by shoveling, salting entrances, and picking up litter. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Manufacturing Services Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned to support facility maintenance. Custodian Qualifications and Requirements Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Ability to perform physical activities including standing, bending, squatting, walking up and down stairs, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping roles is preferred. Basic math and English communication skills (written and verbal). Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable, efficient, and committed to producing quality work.
