Facilities Technician 5
Our client, a global facilities management and commercial real estate services organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician 5 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 5, you will be part of the Facilities Operations and Engineering Department supporting the Building Engineering and Maintenance Team across a five-building campus. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a safety-first mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $35.00 - $43.00 per hour
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to alarms within Building Automation Systems (Siemens, Schneider, and Metasys).
- Maintain and repair HVAC equipment, electrical distribution systems, plumbing systems, and building infrastructure.
- Conduct facility inspections, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions to support client operations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations and ensure equipment reliability across a five-building campus.
What's Needed?
- Universal EPA 608 Certification (required).
- Journeyman-level experience with at least 4 years of commercial building engineering and HVAC maintenance experience.
- Experience working with Building Automation Systems (Siemens, Schneider, Metasys, or similar platforms).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, MEP systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and ability to participate in an on-call rotation every 5-6 weeks.
