Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Maintenance Mechanic – Temple, TX, 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:15 PM), Full-time with benefits. The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems across all departments. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on belts, piping, filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and seals. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to resolve and prevent issues. Maintain and repair pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics, and production equipment. Install and service control devices, sensors, and motor control systems. Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and 480 V 3‑phase electrical systems. Read and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed. Qualifications 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance or skilled trades experience. Must be 18 years of age; high school diploma or GED required. Strong mechanical and electrical background. PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley preferred). Experience with hand tools and power tools. Ability to read technical drawings and work independently. Basic computer skills; CMMS experience a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
