K-12 Daily Nurse Substitute

Falmouth Public Schools is looking for K-12 daily nurse substitutes. Requirements: License from the State of Maine to practice as a Registered Nurse and proper Department of Education certification. Has or is eligible for approved Criminal History Check through Maine Dept. of Education (fingerprinting) and must pass a district-run background check. Recommended additional qualifications: Knowledge of child and adolescent growth and development Knowledge of nursing care for children and adolescents An understanding of school health policies and procedures Competency in emergency care Familiarity with community health resources Desire to work with children/adolescents Recent practice as a registered nurse Falmouth Public Schools are located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth, Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens, and rich opportunities for collaboration between schools.
