Wacante Kiyapi Outreach VISTA Specialist

Wacante Kiyapi is a non‑profit organization located on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation of South Dakota. Wacante Kiyapi provides opportunities for people to achieve health and wellness. The Outreach VISTA Specialist will help support staff, collect data, work within the team, and acquire feedback from parents within the community. Member Duties Help build sustainability in the Wacante Kiyapi resource development processes. Help build capacity within Operations to allow for stability and growth. Confront poverty by increasing people’s ability to achieve health and wellness despite their income. Participate in weekly conferences, meetings, community events and gatherings to increase skills. Provide training to help others increase skills. Participate in weekly and monthly conference calls hosted by the VISTA Coordinator for all VISTA’s serving across the Pine Ridge Promise Zone.
