Registered Nurse - NICU

$2549.84/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients in the Level III NICU setting. Ensure safety, support, and treatment for newborns requiring complex medical interventions. Responsibilities: Assess neonatal patient conditions and develop individualized care plans. Administer respiratory support using all respiratory modes and manage ventilators. Perform advanced procedures including PICC line insertion, bronchoscopy, and swallow studies. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies promptly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records. Qualifications: Hold a valid California registered nurse license with Nursys verification issued within the last 2 weeks. Possess at least 2 years of NICU nursing experience in a Level III NICU setting. Maintain current BLS and NRP certifications, approved by AHA or ARC. Demonstrate proficiency in all respiratory modes and pediatric clinical procedures. Exhibit strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
