Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2413.24/week - Job Summary: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced critical environment. They assess, monitor, and support patients while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safety and positive outcomes. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, recognizing changes in condition and responding promptly. Administer medications, connect and monitor telehealth equipment, and manage clinical procedures such as IV insertion, Foley cath placement, and wound dressings. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. Report errors, near misses, and safety concerns according to protocols, serving as a patient advocate. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly. Maintain professional appearance, take initiative, and complete tasks within designated timeframes. Qualifications: Valid California RN license verified through Nursys within the last two weeks. BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications with current expiration dates. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bustling Emergency Department setting. Demonstrated understanding of pathophysiology, pharmacology, regulatory standards, and service line disease processes.
