Patient Care CoordinatorPride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our client's medical facility in Boston, MA 02215. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job Summary: Radiology Support Coordinator/ Patient Care Coordinator to support daily operations within the Imaging Department. This role is responsible for managing patient scheduling, coordinating referrals, verifying insurance, maintaining imaging records, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while supporting radiologists and technologists.Specific Duties:Schedule and coordinate patient imaging appointments while managing daily patient flow.Process referrals, verify insurance eligibility, and collect copays/deductibles.Perform patient check-in/check-out and maintain accurate demographic information.Monitor referral and scheduling work queues and conduct patient follow-up.Manage imaging records, image sharing, and maintain data in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.Coordinate with providers, technologists, and outside facilities to support patient care.Process requests for image copies and ensure HIPAA compliance.Communicate imaging results to referring providers as needed.Assist with staff training, provide cross-site support, and resolve patient concerns.Perform general administrative and departmental support duties.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Proficiency with computers, keyboarding, and standard office applications.Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.Ability to handle confidential patient information while maintaining HIPAA compliance.Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
