Salary: $160,650 - 217,350 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent.
• We need the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
• We require 9+ years of experience with embedded systems and/or software development in C or C++.
• We require 3+ years of experience with software used in air vehicles, avionics, weapons, or mission systems.
• We prefer a bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, paired with 9+ years of related experience; or a bachelors degree with 13+ years of directly related experience; or 17+ years of relevant experience.
• We prefer 2+ years of experience in an Agile product development environment.
• We prefer prior experience in the aerospace industry.
• We value experience with Linux, software containers such as Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD tools such as JIRA, GitLab, Ansible, and Artifactory, model-based systems engineering tools such as UML, SysML, Cameo, and MSOSA, and automated testing.
• We prefer the ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs.
• A Secret clearance is considered an advantage.
• Completion of a technical assessment is required during the selection process.

• We lead the design, development, testing, debugging, and sustainment of software integrated into embedded devices and systems.
• We translate customer needs into software designs for embedded hardware and systems.
• We review code for embedded software running on specialized hardware.
• We integrate embedded software with hardware components.
• We analyze, monitor, and improve the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
• We lead testing and debugging efforts for software used in embedded devices and systems.
• We research and implement new technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory updates relevant to software and hardware development.
• We advise on software and hardware integration areas.
• We track and evaluate internal and supplier team performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
