Spring Co-Op 2027, Commercial Analytics, Market Access
$25 - $35 per hourVertex Pharmaceuticals
Six-month commercial analytics co-op program supporting US market access strategy, forecasting, and pricing initiatives. Students will work on analytics projects for patient access optimization across pain and cystic fibrosis portfolios, applying quantitative methods to identify drivers and barriers in pharmaceutical distribution and payer networks.
Responsibilities
- Develop demand forecasting models for pharmacy and hospital distribution channels
- Assess performance and effectiveness of payer and delivery network contracts
- Build performance scorecards and dashboards for payer monitoring
- Conduct key driver analysis to identify factors influencing sales and patient access outcomes
- Create analytics scripts and reports under guidance of market access data analytics lead
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (engineering, statistics, analytics, computer science)
- Currently pursuing master's degree in quantitative field or STEM-focused MBA
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, sklearn) or R, and Excel
- Experience with regression, hypothesis testing, key driver analysis, and forecasting methods
- Familiarity with machine learning classification and time series analysis techniques
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Full-time availability January–July 2027, 40 hours per week
Compensation: $25.00–$35.00 USD/hour
