HR Generalist Job Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting daily human resources operations and ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across the organization. This role handles a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and HR reporting. The HR Generalist serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures.

This role handles a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and HR reporting. The HR Generalist serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment (posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews).
- Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records.
- Serve as a resource for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and performance issues.
- Support disciplinary processes and documentation.
- Administer employee benefits programs (health, retirement, leave).
- Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping processes.
- Support compensation reviews and salary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist in updating HR policies and employee handbook.
- Coordinate training sessions and professional development programs.
- Track training participation and compliance requirements.
- Support performance review processes.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics (turnover, headcount, absenteeism).
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy.
- Support audits and internal reviews.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role.
- Knowledge of HR principles and employment laws.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
