HR Generalist

HR Generalist Job Summary The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting daily human resources operations and ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across the organization. This role handles a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and HR reporting. The HR Generalist serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Onboarding Assist with full-cycle recruitment (posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews). Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities. Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records. 2. Employee Relations Serve as a resource for employee inquiries and concerns. Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and performance issues. Support disciplinary processes and documentation. 3. Benefits & Compensation Administration Administer employee benefits programs (health, retirement, leave). Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping processes. Support compensation reviews and salary adjustments. 4. Compliance & Policy Implementation Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies. Maintain employee records and HR documentation. Assist in updating HR policies and employee handbook. 5. Training & Development Coordinate training sessions and professional development programs. Track training participation and compliance requirements. Support performance review processes. 6. HR Reporting & Administration Prepare HR reports and metrics (turnover, headcount, absenteeism). Maintain HRIS data accuracy. Support audits and internal reviews. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience: 2–5 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role. Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of HR principles and employment laws. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and time management abilities. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
