SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Material Management Department (MMD) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will coordinate continual analysis of all Aviation Support Branch material operations and work practices to ensure the quality and reliability of Branch operations, data, and program compliance. You will establish and monitor each organizational segment to determine program compliance, work quality, and to provide metrics data on program efforts. You will collect, consolidate and analyze program data to provide reports to supervisors and program managers for review and consideration. You will perform audit and sampling actions on-site at assigned locations that support Aviation Supply Branch operations. You will analyze material management data, and present findings in written format with charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and reports generated from automated systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Supply Systems Analyst specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector administrating management control and financial accountability for supply assets and operations. Examples of the specialized experience include: 1) Continual analysis of material operations through quality control investigations discrepancy reports and surveys; 2) Utilizing automated material management applications such as the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems (NALCOMIS); 3) Presenting findings with charts, graphs, spreadsheets and reports; and 4) Developing alternatives and recommendations on general business and material management practices.
