Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Summary:


Provide specialized critical care nursing services as a CVICU RN in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Ensure patient safety and quality care through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with team members.
• Promote patient safety and comfort while adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current, active Registered Nurse license.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in critical care or CVICU nursing.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-pressure environment.
