Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

Assist with month-end close activities and preparation of supporting schedules Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations Support payroll accounting and related financial transactions Investigate and resolve account variances and reconciliation discrepancies Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and account fluctuation reviews Support audit requests and preparation of audit documentation Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company accounting policies Contribute to process improvements and accounting department initiatives

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

1+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger accounting and account reconciliations Experience preparing journal entries and supporting month-end close activities Exposure to payroll accounting is a plus Strong Excel skills, including formulas, reporting, and pivot tables Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
