Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and emotional well-being, utilizing standardized assessment tools and personal interviews. \n Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations and clients' personal goals. \n Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, while using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and narrative therapies. \n Monitor client progress effectively, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. \n Provide crisis intervention and support during acute situations, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning. \n Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical practices. \n Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to streamline comprehensive client care. \n Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health practices and research to integrate new techniques into treatment. \n Engage in regular supervision and ongoing training sessions to enhance clinical acumen and adhere to best practices. \n Follow ethical guidelines and professional standards established by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n At Turning Tides Psychotherapy Center, our patient population is as diverse as the community we serve. We work with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Each therapist will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients’ lives, by providing culturally competent therapy aimed at promoting healing and resilience. Qualifications\n \n A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field. \n Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) is mandatory. \n Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities, with a focus on delivering accurate and respectful care. \n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, promoting rapport and trust with clients. \n Demonstrated empathy and compassion, with a commitment to enhancing client well-being. \n Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a cohesive team environment. \n Thorough knowledge of ethical practices and laws that govern mental health therapy. \n A strong commitment to ongoing professional development. \n Preferred Experience\n \n A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic modalities. \n Experience working in a community health setting is an advantage. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
