Shipping Clerk

Shipping Clerk Location: City of Industry, CA Schedule: Monday through Friday Pay Rate: 20+ depending on experience Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing and processing outgoing shipments, verifying incoming and outgoing orders, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring products are packaged accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents. Package, label, and prepare products for shipment. Determine appropriate shipping methods and coordinate carrier services. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation. Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality. Monitor and maintain inventory of shipping supplies and materials. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2-5 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience. Manufacturing environment experience preferred. Experience with inventory, database, and shipping software. Basic knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 standards is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
