Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.Responsibilities:Batch Picking: Efficiently pick multiple orders at once by combining items with similar characteristics, optimizing the picking process for increased productivity.Quality Check: Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on picked items to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging.Return Handling: Process returns from customers, inspect returned items, determine their disposition, and update inventory records accordingly.Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers or vendors regarding discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items in received shipments.Stock Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend actions, such as reordering or clearance.Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to implement optimization strategies, like ABC analysis, for efficient stock management.Shipping Documentation: Prepare and complete shipping documentation, including bills of lading, export documentation, and customs declarations for international shipments.Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with shipping carriers, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and resolving any shipping-related issues or delays.Requirements:Strong attention to detailAbility to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for a prolonged periodMust be able to effectively work within a team environmentCommunicate and can follow verbal and written directions@ HYVE Solutions, we believe employees are our greatest asset and we empower them to make a difference in our business.
