Quality Assurance Test Lead

Location: Cleveland, OH (100% Onsite) Duration: 6-12 Month Contract About the Opportunity We're partnering with a large enterprise organization undergoing a major technology transformation and are looking for an experienced QA Test Lead to help shape the future of their software testing organization. This is not a hands‑on QA execution role. It's an opportunity for a senior technical QA professional to help drive enterprise test strategy, improve automation adoption, establish testing best practices, and serve as a trusted partner to QA leadership across multiple high-profile initiatives. What You'll Be Doing Lead enterprise test planning, test strategy, and overall quality management activities Partner with automation engineers and performance testing teams to improve automation adoption and testing maturity Coordinate testing efforts across developers, product teams, business stakeholders, and project managers Drive defect management, traceability, quality metrics, risk management, and test governance Manage test cycles, test execution, and reporting using Jira, Zephyr, or similar test management tools Help establish and improve enterprise QA standards, testing processes, and best practices Communicate testing status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders Serve as a technical advisor on automation strategy and enterprise testing initiatives What We're Looking For 7+ years of software testing or quality assurance experience Experience leading enterprise test strategy, test planning, and QA initiatives Strong understanding of automation frameworks and modern test automation concepts Experience with BDD, Gherkin, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation technologies Experience with Jira, Zephyr, ALM, Xray, or comparable test management platforms Strong understanding of defect management, traceability, quality metrics, and testing governance Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead discussions across technical and business teams Experience supporting large enterprise software implementations Preferred Experience ERP or enterprise application testing Performance testing coordination Leading distributed or offshore QA teams Helping organizations modernize testing practices and expand automation coverage Why This Role?
