This position reports to Chapter Leader Product Management.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape ABB's next generation of UPS offerings by working at the intersection of product management, market intelligence, and customer success. Each day, you will collaborate with global stakeholders, agile teams, and customers to ensure our product portfolio remains competitive, customer-focused, and aligned with business objectives. You will also showcase your expertise by translating market needs into technical solutions and supporting the successful launch and adoption of new offerings.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Smart Power Division, Electrification Business Area.

Main stakeholders include Product Management, R&D, Sales, Operations, Service teams, and customers across global markets.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Driving cross-functional collaboration by acting as the key interface between agile teams, global functions, and customers to translate market and customer requirements into clear product specifications and customer-centric solutions.
• Managing the product lifecycle of assigned UPS products, supporting business case development, cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring technical solutions are effectively leveraged across the portfolio.
• Conducting market and competitor analysis through market sizing, trend monitoring, and benchmarking activities to identify product gaps and support portfolio strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Supporting go-to-market and sales enablement activities by developing communication materials, supporting new product launches, providing product training, and participating in customer engagements.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in Agile methodologies and product management practices.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in product management, including stakeholder management and collaboration with global functions such as Sales, Operations, Service, and R&D.
• You have experience working with product lifecycle management processes and stage-gate development models.
• You possess knowledge of PLM tools, SAP, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with cost modeling and competitor benchmarking is considered an advantage.
• You are passionate about collaboration, customer-centric thinking, and driving innovation through cross-functional teamwork.
• You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
• You are flexible regarding working hours and willing to travel internationally when required.
