About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Financial Strategy and Operations to serve as the senior financial and operational leader in the Division of Student Life. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in financial planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and operational effectiveness. This role requires a trusted advisor to the Vice Chancellor, ensuring sound financial stewardship, compliance, and alignment of resources with divisional priorities and student success goals. The Executive Director will also advance operational excellence and long-term organizational sustainability through collaboration with campus partners and will oversee a substantial budget, leading financial, technology, and administrative functions. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' professional experience in finance, budgeting, operations, administration, strategic planning, or organizational management. The role demands a leader with the ability to think strategically, lead complex organizations, and translate institutional priorities into effective financial and operational plans. Strong communication, financial analysis, personnel management, and organizational leadership skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial oversight, resource allocation, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders, and experience in higher education or a related field is preferred. The Executive Director will also be involved in technology strategy, data-informed decision support, and will be expected to provide leadership on emerging technologies that enhance organizational effectiveness and service delivery.
