Job Details Specialty: Emergency Medicine Location: Saint Johns, Michigan Setting: Community emergency department with 10 beds Trauma Designation: Level IV Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,340-$7,870 Start Date: July 1, 2026 End Date: September 30, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: Approximately 36 hours per week Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Schedule: 12-hour day and night coverage, with September primarily nights Openings: 2 Credentialing: Emergency credentialing available EMR: Epic Annual ED Volume: Approximately 13,800 visits Average Daily Volume: 32-50 patients per day Support: APP coverage during overlapping hours On-Site Resources: Radiology, laboratory, blood bank, operating room, anesthesia, and specialty consultants Job Requirements Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) required Active full Michigan medical license required; IMLC or compact licenses are not accepted Current ACLS and ATLS certifications required 1+ year of emergency medicine experience required, preferably in a community emergency department Experience supervising advanced practice providers required Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced emergency department setting NPDB self-query required within 30 days of presentation Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency medicine coverage for a busy community emergency department in Saint Johns, Michigan Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers during overlapping shifts Respond to hospital codes as needed Interpret EKGs and support timely clinical decision-making Evaluate, stabilize, and manage a broad range of emergency department patients Coordinate care with consulting services and transfer protocols when additional specialty care is needed Why This Locum Tenens Opportunity?
