Job Summary Specialty Emergency Medicine State MI Location 805 S Oakland St, St. Johns, MI Job Description Sparrow Clinton seeks a board‑certified Physician in Emergency Medicine. Responsibilities include responding to hospital codes, interpreting EKGs, handling admission orders, stabilizing OB patients, and collaborating with supervising clinicians. Schedule & Dates Needed Date Coverage : July 20: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM July 25: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM July 26: Shift TBD August 10: Night shift all August August 16 August 17 August 24 August 29 August 31 September: Approximately 8 shifts anticipated primarily nights Shift Schedule : Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Days – 8‑hour shift (two shifts 7:00 – 19:00 and seven shifts 19:00 – 07:00 for July & August; September shifts forthcoming – mostly nights) Dates Needed 2026-07-01 to present Job Information Annual ED Volume: 13,800 visits Average Daily Volume: 32–50 patients Total ED Beds: 10 Trauma Designation: Level IV Fast Track: No 55% of hospital admissions originate from the ED 6.4% of ED patients are admitted Fewer than 7 patient transfers per 24‑hour period Primary referral center: Sparrow Hospital Lansing (~20 miles) EMR: Epic Support: One APP works alongside the ED attending from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM; Locum physician will provide supervision of APP during overlapping hours Clinical responsibilities: Respond to hospital codes as needed; Interpret EKGs (cardiology provides final review); Admission orders handled by admitting physicians; OB patients are stabilized and transferred to Sparrow Lansing Lamp Available Services Radiology – CT, MRI, X‑Ray Laboratory – Blood Bank (AABB Certified) Operating Room Anesthesia Available Consultants Radiology Critical Care/Intensivist Cardiology Pulmonology Gastroenterology Neurology Urology Psychiatry Credentialing & Compensation Credentialing timeframe : Emergency credentialing available; Provider needed for first shift on July 20 Rate to submit Malpractice rate: included in rate Orientation fee: 1/2 of hourly Hourly – Hourly holiday: 1.5× Overtime: 1.5× Conversion fee Staffing Services Weekly Direct Deposits Travel and Lodging Provided if Needed A+ Rated Malpractice Coverage 24/7 Availability of Recruiting Consultant & Credentialing Staff Contact Danielle Dick View email address on click.appcast.io View phone number on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Alumni Healthcare Staffing
