Assistant Maintenance Manager

We’re looking for a hands‑on Assistant Maintenance Manager to help lead our maintenance team and keep our manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently and reliably. This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who is ready to step into a leadership role, develop a team, troubleshoot complex equipment, and drive continuous improvement. What You’ll Do Lead and support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, and equipment issues Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime Partner with Production & Engineering to improve equipment reliability Support equipment installations, capital projects, and facility upgrades Manage maintenance documentation, CMMS records, and spare-parts inventory Promote a strong safety and continuous‑improvement culture Identify issues before they become downtime and implement solutions 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment 1–3 years of supervisory/team‑lead experience preferred Strong mechanical, electrical, PLC, and troubleshooting skills Experience with CMMS Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred Bonus: Experience in aerospace, automotive, electronics, PCB/PCBA, or other high‑volume manufacturing environments. Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus.
