Product Development Specialist (Hybrid)

Responsibilities Ensure styling standards for quality and design are clearly communicated and consistently understood by Agents and Vendors across the Hard Home/Stationery division. Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas agents, vendors, and cross-functional product teams. Analyze weekly sales reports to identify consumer trends and support strategic assortment planning; responsible for pulling and presenting selling data to the internal team each Monday. Conduct market and trend research to evaluate the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to elevate products in partnership with Design and Buying teams. Collaborate with licensed and private brands to align product development with brand vision, ensuring the strongest brand product fit across assortments. Organize and manage the review of all vendor samples, ensuring compliance with quality and brand standards while providing clear, actionable feedback on color accuracy, material quality, and branding/packaging. Performs special projects as directed. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in Product Development or Product Management. Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills, including the ability to build and analyze pivot tables, apply formulas, and manipulate data effectively. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite.
