Occupational Therapist

This role involves providing occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting. The therapist will assist patients with activities of daily living and rehabilitation needs. This position requires knowledge and skills in various therapeutic techniques. Travelers will be expected to cover outpatient, acute care, and some long-term care/swing bed. The work environment is a small critical access hospital with a total of 40 staffed beds. Housing options include one-bedroom apartments that may be shared with another traveler. Pets are not allowed in housing units. Travelers should be prepared to float between nearby facilities as required. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. All therapy-related responsibilities must be completed in compliance with facility policies. The facility offers free parking and requires a clean housing unit upon departure. Candidates must provide two references covering one year of work experience within the last three years.
