Cardiac Catheterization Technologist Healthcare

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 x 10s, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, no set day off; evening and weekend call for emergency procedures.

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements: 2-3 years of experience in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Must hold a MA RT(R) License Current ACLS and BLS certifications required RCIS preferred Ability to independently read telemetry strips and pass the tele exam on day 1 with 85% or better Experience with impella, telemetry, and IABP is required

Roles & Responsibilities: Perform functions related to hemodynamic monitoring and imaging in the Cardiology department. Perform and record hemodynamic monitoring, ensuring quality control standards in diagnostic imaging. Assist with the radiologic operations of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Complete patient billing forms for cath lab procedures and perform daily calibration and maintenance of film processors. Assist in preparing cardiology patients for invasive procedures and respond to emergency situations as needed. Maintain confidentiality and security of all medical data and comply with relevant hospital policies and procedures.
