Yard Driver
Now hiring for a Yard Driver Location: Garden City, GA Pay Rate: $24.50 – $25.50 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday Home every night, weekly pay, and a route you can count on.
What You'll Do:
- Safely move trailers within the yard using yard trucks/yard jockey equipment
- Spot, stage, and position trailers at docks for loading and unloading
- Inspect trailers for damage, safety issues, and proper loading conditions
- Communicate with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure efficient dock flow and trailer placement
- Maintain accurate trailer inventory and yard tracking logs
- Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and yard safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment at all times
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A license
- DOT Medical Card
- FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
- 1-year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
- No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
- No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
