We're looking for a dependable, safety-minded team player to help maintain our container yard and support our mission of delivering outstanding service to our customers.As a Container Yard Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our yard organized, repairing and maintaining containers, and contributing to a safe, well-functioning work environment. If you value teamwork, take initiative, and want to be part of a company that treats its people like family, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.What You'll DoSafety FirstFollow our Plan to Zero (PTZ) commitment—striving for zero accidents.Participate in monthly safety and DOT training discussions.Immediately report unsafe conditions to the Site Manager.Use all required PPE and follow chemical-handling guidelines from the SDS Manual.Understand all safety steps for cart cleaning and follow proper protocols during any incident.Cart & Yard MaintenanceInspect and separate dirty, repairable, and scrap containers.Repair all carts deemed repairable.Clean dirty and repaired carts following established procedures.Process scrap carts, including salvaging parts and recording serial numbers.Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area and yard.Support the TeamUse the Rehrig Management System to stay aligned on responsibilities and tasks.Pitch in to help teammates and share best practices.Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment where everyone succeeds together.What You BringExperience in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment (preferred).High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience (preferred).Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.A commitment to safety and teamwork.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.Why You'll Love Working With UsA supportive, family-oriented team environment.Opportunities for skill development and growth.A culture that values safety, respect, and teamwork.Why Rehrig Pacific?Rehrig Pacific is a leading manufacturer of integrated sustainable solutions for the supply chain and environmental waste industries with a diverse customer list of industry leaders.
