Texas Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster

Managing a caseload of medical-only workers' compensation claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster will focus on timely investigations, medical bill reviews, and driving claims to resolution while working fully remote from Texas. Key responsibilities: Conduct three-point contact with injured workers, employers, and treating physicians to gather essential facts and assess compensability Direct medical care throughout the claim lifecycle and coordinate with medical review teams to ensure appropriate treatment and timely return-to-work outcomes Negotiate and finalize claim settlements, managing subrogation opportunities as needed Required qualifications: 1-3 years of experience as a WC Claims Assistant, Trainee, or Future Med Adjuster; or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of six months of WC claims experience Active Texas Worker's Comp or all lines license required; multi-state preferred Familiarity with claims management platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Juris, ClaimCenter) preferred Working knowledge of Texas WC statutes and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to read and interpret medical records
