This contract position offers two exciting assignments: a maternity leave role from early November through mid-February, and a full school year commitment from late August through early June. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active Michigan OT license (please be prepared to present documentation)
• Prior experience or specialized training in school-based occupational therapy settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Dedication to fostering student success through individualized intervention plans
• Comfort adapting to both in-person and remote service delivery models

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students' occupational therapy needs in a supportive K-12 educational environment
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to improve students’ motor, sensory, and academic skills
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure carryover of strategies
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning
• Support students’ functional independence and overall well-being during the regular school day
