Job Description The Human Resources Generalist at Shriners Hospitals for Children provides comprehensive HR support, encompassing various functions to ensure a positive and productive work environment. This role is crucial in supporting our mission of providing exceptional care to children. Key Responsibilities Coaches/ Counsels and advises management and employees on employee relations issues to create an environment of mutual respect; mediating issues to quick resolutions; exhibits an open, helpful style, welcoming management and employees to approach; ensures visibility throughout the facility. Provide expert individual conflict identification and resolution. Act as an internal consultant by assisting and coaching line managers with a variety of human resources issues including performance reviews & feedback, employee relations issues, EEO Reporting; performance management, compensation. Facilitates employee understanding of local and corporate HR policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal and state regulations. Stays current of all laws; provides interpretation and periodic updates to management and staff. Maintains timely and accurate employee status and payroll information. Generates PAF changes in Fast Forward; perform monthly reporting review and forward discrepancies to corporate office. Performs review of position administration, noting position changes, additions and deletions; ensure timely correction of discrepancies in record; reconciles with the Market HR Director. Required Qualifications 3 years of human resources experience Computer proficiency and strong sense of confidentiality Above average written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and problem solving skills Bachelor’s Degree in related field Preferred Qualifications 3 years of experience working in a healthcare setting 3 to 5 years of HR experience HR certification by SHRM or ASHHRA The pay range for this position is $73,559.20 - $110,350.24. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
