Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments that evaluate the emotional, social, and financial circumstances of patients entering the detox program.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists to develop individualized treatment plans that address the comprehensive needs of patients.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focusing on issues such as coping mechanisms, adjustment to treatment, grief, and relationship strains.

• Coordinate discharge planning, ensuring patients have access to community resources, follow-up care, and support networks post-treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, utilizing evidence-based methods to help patients through moments of acute distress.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of interventions in compliance with both organizational policies and legal standards, ensuring documentation is available for interdisciplinary team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Los Barrios, you will work primarily with adult patients dealing with substance use disorders. You will support individuals in various stages of recovery and their families, providing critical guidance as they confront the challenges of addiction and transition towards healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Possession of an active LCSW license in the state of California.
