Job Summary Landis+Gyr is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sr Project Manager to lead complex, high‑visibility projects. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of all stages of the project life cycle, have demonstrable experience executing multiple complex projects within stage gate & agile methodology to ensure that all deliverables are completed and approved by project stakeholders. The Sr Project Manager will be working with cross‑functional teams to ensure products are launched on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Plan, execute, control, and coordinate the activities of a project team to produce deliverables agreed upon with customer contracts and project plans. Manage the project(s) and execute activities around the boundaries of scope, schedule, risks, and cost. Utilize the PMO's established project delivery procedures and processes to deliver against requirements for contracted projects. Report project status to the PMO and other stakeholders. Work within a stage‑gate methodology. Manage external, internal, and capital project costs. Scrum management and metric analysis for Agile projects. Represent the Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers. Demonstrate strong influential leadership of interdepartmental project teams to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency. Manage change control & risk management processes. Accept change & identify risks to formulate response to setbacks with minimal disruptions. Manage budget planning, tracking and financial accountability for projects. Negotiate and build positive relationships with key project stakeholders. Primary point of contact for customers, maintaining full responsibility for customer relationships, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long‑term partnerships throughout the project lifecycle. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems Management or related disciplines. 7+ years' experience in Project Management Experience in utility, telecommunications, IT or similarly regulated industries is highly preferred. Certifications PMP Certified or similar Preferred Qualifications Excellent understanding of project management scheduling SW tools (Microsoft Project preferred). Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, & listening). Understands how to measure audience and craft communications to meet their needs. Uses listening skills to completely understand tough situations and help resolve them Excellent leadership qualities and the ability to make decisions without perfect information. Ability to positively influence others without direct authority in efforts to move assigned projects forward. Strong ability to resolve conflicts between members of both the internal and external project team or as needed throughout the organizations. Excellent organizational abilities are needed as multiple projects will be assigned. Excellent change management skills. Ability to accept change and respond to setbacks with minimal disruptions. Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies such as stage gate and agile methodology. Strong negotiating skills for working with stakeholders. A deep understanding of the Project Life Cycle. Ability to manage multiple projects in a global matrixed organization. Experience managing remote teams in different time zones. Ability to travel as needed to support project activities- up to 50%. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Working Conditions: Typical indoor office environment with the majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer using keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Occasional use of other devices such as: phone, copier/printer/fax, etc. Physical Requirements: Typical office setting. Required to stand; walk; crouch; or handle objects. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Ability to sit and view computer screen for long periods of time. The ability to see, hear, & speak in English. Personal Protection Equipment/Other OHSAS Safety Requirements: Ensure the continued efforts and assist in achieving annual goals of health, safety, and environmental policies. Must be current with available OSHA/Safety Training provided by the Company. Pay is in the range of $111,200 - $147,725 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
