Job Description Summary: The Billing Operations Specialist plays a key role in the company's financial operations by supporting all aspects of the billing cycle. Responsibilities include generating and distributing invoices, processing and applying customer payments, and resolving billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate has advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and exceptional attention to detail. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner using NetSuite. Process and apply customer payments, reconcile discrepancies, and support accounts receivable and collections aging activities. Partner with the Sales team to ensure billing accuracy by leveraging Salesforce to review customer accounts and sales orders. Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve billing inquiries, payment discrepancies, and collection-related issues. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing and analyzing accounts receivable reports. Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiencies while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in an accounts receivable, billing, or similar financial role. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and other advanced formulas. Preferred Qualifications: NetSuite: Demonstrated experience with NetSuite for billing, invoicing, and reporting is required.
