Operations Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist to support the fixed income trade settlement lifecycle. This junior-level role will involve daily trade processing, reconciliations, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.Key Responsibilities:Retrieve trade details from Bloomberg and confirm trades with clients and counterpartiesMonitor trade flow into the clearing systemAllocate and track trades through settlementInvestigate and resolve settlement breaksReconcile internal accounts and holdingsAssist with opening new accounts as neededPrepare monthly reports and support audits and compliance reviewsFollow written procedures and ensure operational controls are metSupport ad hoc operations tasks as neededQualifications:2–3 years of experience in trade operations or financial servicesUnderstanding of fixed income trade settlement processesStrong Excel and problem-solving skillsProactive, organized, and able to work independentlyBachelor’s degree required; Series 99 license preferredHireQuest does not discriminate on the basis of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or other legally protected group status in making hiring or employment decisions.We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, industries, and abilities to join our team.
