Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in door components, is seeking an Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist to join their team. As an Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly line operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $20.5
Shift: 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:15 AM, Monday-Thursday. Overtime may be required on Fridays.
What's the Job?
- Work on assigned production lines following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for specific tasks
- Measure, cut, and assemble door units accurately and efficiently
- Assist with manual labor tasks such as palletizing, wrapping, and labeling units
- Verify materials against the bill of materials to ensure quality and correctness
- Test and calibrate parts to meet product specifications and tolerances
What's Needed?
- Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive motions
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
