Senior Director, Science, Innovation, & Development

The Senior Director, Science, Innovation, & Development is responsible for leading and managing the scientific and research operations at AccuWeather. The successful candidate will serve as the senior advisor on innovation and oversee the development of new products and solutions in the Artificial Intelligence, Meteorology, and Scientific Disciplines. One of the initial responsibilities of this position will be leading the definition and development of AccuWeather’s Next Generation Weather Forecasting System along with the creation of new innovative and industry leading solutions in health, energy, sports and transportation. The person will also be responsible for creation of new intellectual capabilities and patents, and capitalizing on existing intellectual capital and patents.
