Location: Jacksonville, FL
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience

Position Summary

SNI is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support complex commercial, industrial, and mission-critical construction projects throughout the project lifecycle. This position plays a critical role in managing contractual risk, ensuring compliance, and supporting project execution by administering owner contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, change orders, and related project documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction contract administration experience and a strong understanding of construction operations, project delivery methods, risk management, and compliance requirements. Experience working for an electrical contractor, general contractor, or specialty contractor is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, draft, and administer owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
• Ensure contract terms align with company standards, project requirements, and risk management objectives.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle from pre-construction through project closeout.
• Partner with Project Managers, Operations Leadership, Finance, and Legal Counsel to address contract-related issues and mitigate risk.
• Track and administer change orders, amendments, claims, notices, and other contract modifications.
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, insurance requirements, bonding requirements, lien waivers, and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate contract records and documentation within project management and ERP systems.
• Review contract language to identify potential risks and recommend solutions to leadership.
• Support project teams with contract interpretation and administration throughout project execution.
• Coordinate contract execution timelines to ensure project schedules and milestones are maintained.
• Assist with dispute avoidance and resolution efforts by maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Develop and improve contract administration processes and best practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of contract administration experience within the construction industry.
• Experience working for an electrical contractor, general contractor, specialty contractor, or construction management firm.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontract agreements, purchase orders, change orders, and project documentation.
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare, or mission-critical construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction risk management, insurance requirements, lien laws, and compliance procedures.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Vista, CMiC, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and document management capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large electrical construction projects.
• Exposure to data center, mission-critical, or hyperscale construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Experience reviewing and administering AIA, ConsensusDocs, and custom contract agreements.
• Professional certifications related to contract management, construction management, or project controls are a plus.
