Responsibilities Represent clients in family law proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trials Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, agreements, motions, and pleadings with precision and clarity Conduct thorough legal research using tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategies Negotiate settlements that align with clients’ best interests while fostering amicable resolutions whenever possible Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements Collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive legal solutions tailored to client needs Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction Experience practicing family law with a strong understanding of divorce, child custody, visitation rights, spousal support, and related issues is preferred but not required Demonstrated proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents Legal administrative experience to manage case documentation efficiently Excellent research skills combined with the ability to analyze complex legal issues swiftly and accurately Join us if you’re passionate about family advocacy and eager to deliver energetic solutions that empower clients through every step of their legal journey.
