Onbase Developer

UMGC requires an OnBase Developer with senior experience to perform software development, support, and testing services in a remote work environment. The resource will report to the Director, Enterprise Document Management. Responsibilities include providing programming support to extend functionality of the OnBase platform, analyzing business processes to identify and implement automation of repetitive tasks and scripted job aids, developing APIs between multiple systems, peer reviewing and testing new and revised programmatic functionality, understanding business process and requirements to provide technical solutions that meet customer needs, researching and suggesting new approaches and technologies, working with internal and external customers and clients to clearly define requirements, uncovering business rules and processes, and creating user stories, working with vendor resources to ensure technical issues are evaluated to root cause, implementing system enhancements related to OnBase configuration, developing and maintaining workflow solutions in the OnBase platform, coordinating departmental requested changes in the OnBase system including initial analysis to implementation of configuration changes needed to support new business processes, and creating initial training material to support implemented departmental changes.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science (or equivalent); 3+ years of OnBase development/configuration experience; proficiency in OnBase workflow/configuration, SQL,.NET/C#/JavaScript; experience with APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting; strong process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation abilities; experience supporting end-users and creating training materials; excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; detail-oriented and quality-focused. Preferred: OnBase/Hyland certifications; experience in higher ed, healthcare, or similar industries.
