Our client, a growing automotive repair shop with over 25 years of service to the Antelope Valley community, is seeking to add a full time ASE certified automotive technician to its team. Our client prides itself on providing the highest quality service and integrity to its customers and is seeking a dependable, self-started who will strive to provide the same service and integrity. Technician Responsibilities And Expectations Strong customer service and communication skills – able to relate well to customers and put them at ease about the diagnosis and repair recommendations; able to translate technical language into plain English for the customer to understand Effective diagnostic and problem-solving abilities – able to quickly identify the source of the problem and properly use diagnostic resources and creativity to get to the heart of more complex issues Excellent technical knowledge and up to date on advancing technology – has a passion about cars and does not have a “clock-in/clock-out” mentality about the job; demonstrates knowledge of new tools and advancing technology on vehicles Desire for continuous professional development – demonstrates a continued desire to learn and grow as a professional by taking classes and studying educational resources to remain at the top of their profession Minimum Requirements ASE Certification 3 years minimum automotive repair experience Must include resume with application Submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening Must have valid driver’s license Our client is located in Lancaster and will provide the right candidate with starting pay at $30/hour (depending upon experience) and Aflac benefits with opportunity for rapid increase in pay based on ongoing excellent diagnosis and repair experience and strong to increasing efficiency rate. #J-18808-Ljbffr DealerRefresh
