We're looking for a compassionate, dependable and experienced Caregiver to support several wonderful older adults in the Columbia area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships while providing meaningful, hands-on care to a small group of clients with consistent weekly schedules.

Pay

• $16 - 18 per hour, based on experience and skill level; with opportunity for up to $2 raise within the first year

Schedule

Consistent weekday and weekend availability in Columbia REQUIRED ! Approximately 20–30 hours per week  supporting multiple clients (dependent on your availability).

What You'll Do

As a Care Professional, you'll provide a combination of:

• Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Safe mobility support, transfers, and wheelchair assistance
• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Dementia and memory care support using calm, reassuring communication
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders and pill planner assistance

More About the Clients

You'll support a small group of older adults in the Columbia area, each with their own personality, routines, and care needs. Some clients are living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, while others need support with mobility, vision changes, or daily activities. Success in these homes comes from building trust, communicating with patience, preserving each client's dignity, and creating meaningful moments. Every day is an opportunity to help clients remain safe, engaged, and independent in the comfort of their own homes.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• has CNA or CMT certification (beneficial but NOT REQUIRED)
• Has experience providing personal care
• Is comfortable assisting with transfers, walkers, and wheelchairs
• Has experience supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia
• Is dependable , organized, and communicates well with families and the office
• Is comfortable working in homes with dogs and/or cats
• Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Has a clear criminal background
