The Global PMO Lead provides enterprise-wide leadership for project delivery governance, portfolio management, and execution excellence. This role drives the adoption of standardized, results-oriented project management practices, ensuring initiatives are strategically aligned, effectively governed, and consistently deliver measurable business value. Through strong stakeholder partnerships, rigorous portfolio oversight, and a focus on outcomes, the Global PMO Lead fosters transparency, accountability, and operational discipline, enabling the successful delivery of the organization's highest-priority initiatives.The GPMO Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of business-critical initiatives across the organization, operating within the 4D delivery framework and supported by 4D SmartAlign.This role is responsible for embedding consistent, outcome-focused project management practices, ensuring initiatives are aligned to strategic priorities, and enabling transparency, control, and value realization across the project portfolio. The role combines leadership, governance, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong emphasis on practical delivery ensure value is delivered for every project.A key focus of the role is enabling scalable, data-driven decision-making across the business while leading transformation initiatives spanning AI adoption, digital process optimisation, and enterprise change management.This is a highly influential role requiring strong stakeholder management across executive leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams, with significant impact on operational performance, revenue delivery, and strategic growth.Key Responsibilities1. GPMO Leadership, Governance & 4D FrameworkOwn and manage day-to-day GPMO operations in alignment with the 4Ddelivery frameworkEnsure consistent application of 4D phases, stage gates, and artefacts across all in-scope initiativesChampion the use of Smartsheet as the system of record for project delivery, planning, and reportingEnsure projects are correctly initiated, governed, and transitioned through the 4D lifecycleAct as a point of escalation for delivery risks, dependencies, and governance exceptions2. Portfolio Management, Planning & ReportingSupport enterprise demand management, intake, and prioritization using 4D principlesEnsure project plans, milestones, dependencies, and benefits are accurately maintained within SmartsheetProvide consolidated portfolio reporting to senior leadership and Board-level forumsMonitor delivery performance, adherence to 4D governance, and portfolio health indicatorsSupport strategic alignment of initiatives to business objectives and investment priorities3. Stakeholder Engagement & Business PartnershipBuild strong relationships with executive sponsors, senior leaders, and delivery teamsSupport sponsors and project leads in understanding and applying the 4D framework effectivelyProvide clear, proactive communication on project status, risks, and outcomesEnsure business stakeholders understand expectations, roles, and responsibilities within the 4D modelSupport business cases, investment governance, and prioritisation decisions4. Continuous Improvement & Capability DevelopmentDrive continuous improvement of the 4D framework and Smartsheet usage based on feedback and outcomesIdentify opportunities to streamline governance while maintaining appropriate controlsPromote best practices, standards, and consistency across the global PM communitySupport training, onboarding, and adoption of 4D and Smartsheet across the organisationAct as a change agent for improved delivery maturity5. People Leadership & PM Community EnablementLine manage Project Managers and/or PMO resources as requiredSupport recruitment, onboarding, and development of PM talent aligned to 4D capability expectationsCoach and mentor PMs in effective application of the framework, stakeholder management, and delivery disciplineFoster a collaborative, high-performing PM community with a shared delivery mindset6.
