Territory Sales Manager (11619)

Who They Are
Our privately owned client is one of the largest manufacturers in one of the fastest growing product categories in the building materials industry. They are looking for a highly motivated Territory Sales Manager to cover the South Central US region calling on a mix of distribution partners, contractors, builders and architects. There is an excellent opportunity here to put your stamp on an already very good territory but with room to grow and make great money at the same time.

What You'll Do

• Drive profitable sales growth of the company's products within an assigned territory
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across defined customer channels
• Coordinate and conduct product education and demonstrations with Technical Support; capture feedback and drive conversion to sales
• Manage pricing and product mix within guidelines to support profitable growth and margin performance
• Build and maintain deep long-term relationships with contractors, roofing companies, builders, distributors, and industrial clients
• Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and pricing within the territory
• Provide regular territory updates, forecasts, and pipeline reports to the leadership team
• Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and association meetings to expand market presence
• Educate clients on product specifications, application methods, benefits, and best practices

What You'll Need

• Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-10 years of outside sales and multi-state sales experience
  • Proven success in manufacturing or construction-related sales environments
  • Strong understanding of B2B and channel sales models
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, & relationship building skills
  • Must be able to work autonomously and have excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products; Teams, SharePoint, Excel
  • Business acumen to understand product mix, pricing, channel mix, and implementation of strategic selling
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in spray foam insulation, chemicals, or building materials
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial construction markets
  • Value-selling experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
