This outpatient cancer center provides specialized hematology and oncology services to an adult patient population within a structured on-site clinic setting. The facility is designed to support coordinated hematologic and oncologic care delivery throughout the covered assignment period. Clinical operations reflect established protocols suited to full-time, ongoing locum tenens coverage.

Asheville, North Carolina, is situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers a range of cultural and natural attractions. The River Arts District, set along the French Broad River, features working artist studios, galleries, and dining and brewery options, while the broader city supports a notable craft beer scene with walkable breweries. Visitors may also explore the Biltmore Estate, the North Carolina Arboretum, the Botanical Gardens with approximately 600 native plant species, the Montford Historic District's early 1900s architecture, and the Folk Art Center, which showcases the work of regional artisans.

Clinicians will provide on-site hematology and oncology coverage at an outpatient cancer center in North Carolina, delivering day shift services with no call obligations required. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions for an adult patient population, with 12-15 patient encounters per day and 0-2 new consults expected daily. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the Epic EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment.
