Mill Accounting Team MemberSummary: Perform accounting functions for Daybreak Foods and New Day Farms. Perform duties as part of the mill accounting team for all locations primarily consisting of reporting on grain purchases and usage.Key Responsibilities:Process grain purchases on a weekly basisMaintain daily position report for all mill locationsCalculate feed usage and cost by barn for all farmsMaintain documentation required by state departments of agricultureMonthly inventory report preparationVarious monthly accruals and reconciliationsInvoice customers for manure deliveriesAssist with preparation of audit workpapersCommunicate with internal and external stakeholdersAssist the accounting manager as neededAdditional responsibilities as position evolvesQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
