Accounting Associate

Responsibilities Responsible for investigation and resolution of invoice, and subledger discrepancies through interaction with vendors, customers, and internal staff. Interact tactfully and professionally with external and internal customers. Maintains a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Perform as a backup within the department as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Scan, file, monitor and correct misfiled documentation in the electronic document management system. Process invoices accurately and timely via the accounting and document management systems. Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience or Training: 2 years of related accounting experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintains a high degree of confidentiality. Technology/Equipment: Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration. Technology/Equipment: Experience with an ERP system Physical Requirements Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate office equipment efficiently. Ability to distinguish color. Require frequent walking, bending, standing, reach above shoulders, and sitting with exposure to production areas requiring use of safety equipment and exposure to cold, wet, damp, hot and noisy environments.
