Molding Technician I

Becton Dickinson seeks a Molding Technician I to operate and maintain injection, compression, and transfer molding equipment on a night shift in Broken Bow, Nebraska. The role involves equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, mold maintenance, quality documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate molding machines and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform corrective actions
Maintain molds, hot runner systems, and complete preventative maintenance tasks
Document production data, downtime, material usage, and quality metrics accurately
Support quality initiatives and assist with training new employees

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
2-3 years plastics manufacturing experience preferred
Basic understanding of molding processes and principles
Ability to read micrometers and measuring devices
Basic computer proficiency and strong math skills
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
