Plant Operator l

Job Summary Plant Operator I – North Hollywood, CA – Coldwater – Retail shop. Pay: $20.00–$24.50/hr. Shift: 12:00pm – 8:30pm. Responsibilities Move and inspect industrial gas cylinders with care and precision using material‑handling equipment or by hand. Assist with loading and unloading cylinders from delivery trucks. Perform cylinder cleaning and general maintenance to uphold high quality and safety standards. Identify and sort cylinders for efficient re‑testing and handling. Operate forklifts, hand‑trucks, pallet‑jacks, and chain hoists to transport cylinders between delivery trucks, testing areas, and storage. Load cylinders onto vehicles or transfer plant cylinders using a forklift to other facility areas. Replace pallet straps and maintain a tidy workspace. Complete required paperwork with accuracy and completeness. Communicate equipment or facility defects to the supervisor and report any accidents or injuries promptly. Qualifications Customer‑service oriented and able to interact with teammates professionally. Efficient in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, MSDS, and procedure manuals. Basic math and written communication skills. High school diploma or GED required; preferred. Minimum one year of related experience or training preferred. Benefits Medical, dental and vision plans.
